How we started
Om Shakthi Tours & Travels began in 2001 as a ground-handling travel agency for South India. In those first years we had very little: a few vehicles, a phone and a lot of determination. What carried us was a team that cared about every guest and a promise to do the job properly.
That approach worked. Inbound tour operators trusted us with their groups, families came back for their next trip, and companies started booking us for their visiting executives. Today we serve Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry, with more than a hundred vehicles and over a hundred trained chauffeurs.
What we do today
- Car rental: chauffeur-driven luxury cars, SUVs and wedding cars, including the Toyota Vellfire and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, GLS and S-Class.
- Group transport: Toyota Commuter, Force Urbania, tempo travellers, mini coaches and large AC and Volvo coaches.
- Ground handling and tours: complete itineraries across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry, with multilingual guides arranged when needed.
- Hotels and stays: bookings from budget to luxury, homestays, and houseboat cruises in Alleppey, Kumarakom and Kollam.
Our drivers
All our drivers are professional, experienced and English-speaking, and many have years of experience with international guests. For luxury cars we use uniformed chauffeurs who understand VIP protocol and wedding timelines.
