Ask ten families in Chennai what wedding car they want and you'll hear the same three names: a white Mercedes-Benz, the Toyota Vellfire, or "something big" for the parents. All three are good choices. The right one depends on who is riding, how long you need it and how the day is planned.

Start with who sits in the car
The couple's car carries two people, sometimes three if a sibling or the photographer jumps in. That points towards a sedan like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. It is elegant, easy to decorate and photographs well at a mandapam entrance.
If the bride's outfit is heavy, or the couple wants space to sit comfortably for a longer drive, the Toyota Vellfire is easier. The sliding doors open wide, the lounge seats recline, and there is room for the lehenga or the Kanjeevaram pallu without anyone sitting on it.
For parents and grandparents, the Mercedes-Benz GLS takes up to six and has a step-in height that older guests find easy.

Match the package to the timeline
A lot of families book the car for the full day when they only need it twice. Our packages run for 8 hours and 80 km, so plan the car around the longest stretch of the day. For the muhurtham, the car usually waits through the ceremony and then goes on to lunch and a temple visit. Past 8 hours, each extra hour is charged separately, so it helps to know your timeline.
Remember that hours are counted from our garage in Saligramam and back. If the hall is in Tambaram or on the ECR, allow for the travel time.
Decoration without damage
Fresh flowers look beautiful and are what most families choose. Tell us your colours a few days ahead. We'll confirm what can go on the car, because tape and wire can mark the paint on a luxury car. Ribbons and a bonnet arrangement are usually all you need for photographs.
Book early in season
Muhurtham dates between November and February are busy. Vellfire and S-Class dates go first. If your date is fixed, it's worth confirming the car the same week you book the hall.
